The Dereham News was created in order to bring the community together, and aims to satisfy the needs of the entire community by focusing on issues that affect us all. This said, The Dereham News will never target a particular audience, nor will it attempt to push its views upon its readers.


The Dereham News recognizes the fact that its contents might, at some point, reflect upon the community, therefore strict guidelines have been set to ensure that whilst an article may represent an author’s opinion, this opinion will never be religiously or politically biased, and although The Dereham News will always give preference to the community which it serves, it will never publish articles or advertisements which might compromise its integrity or reflect badly upon the community.

The Dereham News is an online community newspaper; its purpose to inform and to entertain, to give its readers a voice, and to promote small businesses within the community by focusing upon their individuality.
